Check out the trailer for the pilot episode of the now-cancelled Tremors TV series

We were all a bit sad earlier this year when Syfy announced it wouldn’t be continuing with its new TV show based on the cult sci-fi film Tremors. However, this delightful trailer for what would have been the pilot episode offers some light in the darkness. Check it out:

Star and executive producerKevin Bacon confirmed that Tremors the series was dead on Instagram a few weeks ago, saying: “Sad to report that my dream of revisiting the world of Perfection will not become a reality. Although we made a fantastic pilot (IMHO) the network has decided not to move forward. Thanks to our killer cast and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard. And always keep one eye out for GRABOIDS!”

The pilot episode is set 15 years after the events of the original film, and stars Bacon as Valentine McKee, who had returned to Perfection, Nevada and was once again tasked with trying to save humanity from the Graboids.

It was written by Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle) and directed by Vincenzo Natali (Splice). Alongside Bacon, it also starred Hunter Parrish, Brandon Jay McLaren, PJ Byrne, Megan Ketch, Emily Tremaine, Ebonee Noel, Shiloh Fernandez and Haley Tju.

You can buy the Tremors Attack Pack box set from Amazon.co.uk now. Get all the latest sci-fi news with every issue of SciFiNow.
